It's Me and Thomas Bangalter from Daft Punk (a french group). :w00t!:

I was invited by them to a private techno party on a parisian boat. (I know Thomas in real life)
I made this funny drawing for them (Guy-manuel and Thomas) because few days before this night, they was radio guest star in a famous morning radio show (I was at this morning radio show too... ;))
They have laughed about their Interstella 5555's video clip characters looks "like" Schtroumpf ones. (Smurf in english I think) LOL! (the same blue skin....)
This moment gave me this idea to draw that.
When I arrived on this private party with this drawing, they was very happy and amused. ^_^

This drawing was painted with airbrush, I used polyurethane acrylic paint (car paint) on komacel 5mm. (a sort of PVC plastic)
size 80cm x 60cm

I know about Daft Punk and how their identities can't or hasn't been revealed. So is that why you colored over his face?

Wow, I'm a fan of those guys, so this pic really intrigues me... That's great that you know Mr. Thomas that well. Did they request that the pic be blurred? They're all about the secrecy.

No, Thomas have not asked that to me, but I respect their choices to be unknow in real life. (and he didn't know I will put this photo on my sites ^^;) so I hide his face :)

Yes, that is the reason :)

They want live a normal life like every body, to buy their bread like me or you, without fans around them.........
it's strange for me to be next Thomas in the street and to see nobody reconize him.....:laughing:
