Sad Sakura by escafan Sad Sakura by escafan
I used normal Copic and Pantone markers (only these one above the fanart).
The paper is the Copic special paper 70 g/m²
I used normal Copic, (I did not have yet my Copic Sketch -_-)

there is a photo of the fanart finished with all of the tools I used to make it :giggle:

you can see I had a reference picture, it's made by Clamp...

Sakura looks so beautiful on your drawing! There's a lot of details and these colours are so pure and sad...
I think it is a wonderful drawing and I think you all of your drawings based on Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle are wonderful, especially they are traditional arts Bunny Kitty Emoji-01 (Lovely) [V1]

This is so beautiful. TRC is one of my very favorite anime. To see it drawn oh so well makes me happy. The water effect looks stunning, Great work!!!

Wow I totally admire your skillz with the copics.
The original is allready really nice and you created such a nice version yourself. Especially the background looks nice.
You must have an awsome scanner to get colors like that :D

amazing detail!
wow, 70g/m sounds thin :o does it have some special treatment?

yes it's thin, but it's a Copic special paper, yes there is a sort of treatment, the absorbating side is the one I used, it's dry ink like a bristol paper. and the other side of the paper is the one where we can shade off (I don't know if it's the good english word...) ink is not dryed like the other side...

You are quite right.
But her expression really caught my attention.
I could have sworn I saw it somewhere.
Then I remembered the original picture.
Great job anyway on the extra detail you added.
Quite touching <3
